Still not convinced?

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.

Hi James and Stella

We wanted to thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality in your beautifully well thought out accommodation and hideaway up in the hills of Mullumbimby.

Tony and I had a very relaxing and most enjoyable stay. A very serene and peaceful environment. The rooms were well appointed, beautifully designed, and luxurious yet relaxed. The views were beyond sensational, and better than we expected. And let’s not talk about the morning sunrise..WOW!

Beds and pillows were very comfortable and allowed for a great night’s sleep.

The drive to Mullumbimby was well worth it and actually we were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed the area and the surrounds. Quite a cool, yet relaxed vibe in the town.

A big thank you to yourselves, for making us feel comfortable and at ease right from the booking stage to check out, felt like we were just coming up to visit friends. Thanks for all the cool suggestions of where to eat at and places to see and things to do, or not do!

The breakfast provided for us daily was yummy, and hearty, made with fresh ingredients and ready for us when it suited us, not yourselves. Freshly brewed coffee by a percolator was a treat, as we are a bit of coffee snobs 😊 Seasonal fruit to start us off was also refreshing.

This was a really unique luxury take on a “B&B” although really didn’t feel like your typical B&B, as we had our own private space whenever we wanted in our own separate pavilion, yet were able to come up and enjoy the communal space of the reception/lounge/pool space either by ourselves or with others whenever it suited us. Not to mention the most sensational views from that space overlooking a stunningly designed pool, out to a breathtaking view of the picturesque mountain ranges stretching from Brighton to Byron Bay and also the views reaching out to the ocean as well. Tick Tick Tick ! A truly magically stop you have there!

We enjoyed our chats over breakfast and whenever we crossed paths, and it felt like you were welcoming us into your home and not into your accommodation facility.

Nothing seemed a bother, not that there was anything to be bothered about! 😊 And you were always asking what you could do for us.

So thank you sincerely, and we hope to cross paths again soon up there at Blackbird.

Cheers and stay well!

Tony and Josephine
